The
elevator has a cabin that moves along rails that serve certain levels, forming a fixed and horizontal angle of more than 15 degrees; it is referred to as a device for transporting loads only if a person is able to enter the cabinet without difficulty and is equipped with controls located inside the cabin or within the reach of the person in the cabin.
Actions regarding the suitability of the elevator to the building in which the elevator is installed are carried out by institutions and organizations authorized to issue building permits for structures other than the Municipality or Municipal boundaries within the framework of the Governorate or related laws in accordance with the Zoning Law No. 3194 dated 3/5/1985 and other relevant laws and the legislation in force under these laws.
For the purpose of registering elevators covered by the relevant Regulations, the elevators to be put into operation are registered with the municipality or to the governorate for structures outside the municipal boundaries or to the institutions and organizations authorized to issue building permits within the framework of the relevant laws. The person who installs the elevator registers the elevator by applying to the organizations mentioned together with the AT Declaration of Conformity of the elevator.
Registrations made by the Governorates or by institutions and organizations authorized to issue building permits for structures outside municipalities or municipal boundaries within the framework of the relevant laws are notified in lists to the Provincial Directorate of Industry and Commerce in the province where the elevator is located as of six months.
Maintenance
ARTICLE 6 — (1) In order to keep under continuous control ensuring the safety of life and property during the use of elevators covered by this Regulation; a) The person installing the elevator or its authorized service must provide monthly maintenance
and service services for the installed elevator during the warranty period. During the warranty period, it is mandatory to conclude a monthly maintenance and service contract between the building manager and the person who installs the elevator or its authorized service.
b) After the end of the warranty period, the building manager must conclude a monthly maintenance and service contract with his authorized service, or with his authorized service, or with his authorized service, or with his authorized service.
c) The authorized service contract to be concluded between the elevator installer and its authorized service includes only maintenance and service issues, excluding installation and overhaul issues.
ç) The person who installs an elevator must provide spare parts for an elevator of all types and characteristics it makes for a period of 10 (ten) years and to meet the request of another elevator installer who provides monthly maintenance and service to the elevator installed by him or her authorized service or building manager in this regard urgently and under normal market conditions. However, the installer of the elevator provides the interested parties with other tools and information to ensure that maintenance services can be provided, as well as other tools and information that ensure the provision of maintenance services, while keeping the trade secrets that include their own knowledge and skills. If the person installing the elevator has used various devices and encryption methods in order to prevent interference with the elevator, he must provide all the necessary information and means so that the person concerned can interfere with the elevator.
Scope of Maintenance
ARTICLE 7 — (1) In order to ensure the continued safety of life and property; the maintenance of the elevator and all its components must be carried out in accordance with the instructions contained in the maintenance and operation manuals.
a) Maintenance includes:
1) Lubrication and cleaning,
2) Checks,
3) Recovery work,
4) Adjustment operations,
5) Repair or replacement of components that may occur due to use or wear and tear and do not affect the characteristics of the elevator.
b) Maintenance;
1) Replacement of a main component or safety component such as the machine, elevator cabin, door, control panel, guide rail, even if the characteristics of the new component are the same as the original,
2) Replacement of the elevator's location,
3) Modification of any characteristics of the elevator, including changing the speed, load it can carry, etc., 4) Fire brigade Rescue work done by the elevator, 5) cleaning the outer parts of the elevator cavity (well), 6) the interior of the elevator cabin
